As a student I find it incredibly liberating to be involved in a school that teaches a large body of knowledge but is humble enough to recognize that we, as humans, do not really understand how or why acupuncture works. I feel free to experiment, to make mistakes, to know that there really is no right way to do this. Like all artists, we have to study hard to learn the craft, the techniques, and then we are free to experiment, to explore, to figure out what really works for our clients and for us.
